JT-Line operates an Island Hopping -waterbusroute from Hakaniemi via Kruunuvuorenranta to Vasikkasaari, Vallisaari (Helsinki Biennial) and Lonna every day from 12th June to 15th August 2021, weekends 21.-22.8.2021 and 28.-29.8.2021, as well as on the Baltic Sea Day 26.8.2021.

In the summer of 2021 Vallisaari will host the first ever Helsinki Biennial, an international visual arts event that brings outstanding contemporary art to maritime Helsinki. The Biennial itself is free of charge (but the boat ride to Vallisaari is not, fares can be viewed here >>)

The Hakaniemie-route is also an eco-friendly choice! The route will be operated with M/s Amiraali, which during the summer 2021 season will only be fuelled with Neste’s renewable MY fuel oil.
As trailblazers we want to partake in the advancement of low emission solutions. By using the Neste MY fuel oil we are reducing our carbon footprint on the route in question by up to 90% compared with fossil fuels.
