Ferry Schedules – Korkeasaari Summer Nights
Come to spend a summer night on the island of animals!
Korkeasaari Summer Nights will take place on three Fridays: 27.6., 11.7. and 25.7.2025. On Summer Nights, the zoo will stay open for extended hours from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (last admission at 9 p.m.). Welcome to experience the bright summer night atmosphere in the unique surroundings of the zoo!
During Summer Nights, there’s plenty of program from morning until night, including guided animal feedings, insect tours, and guided evening walks in Kissalaakso. In addition, the ferry will operate additional trips according to the schedule below, and the paddle wheel ship Vispilä will serve as a café at Korkeasaari’s boat dock from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Vispilä café offers savory and sweet snacks, hot and cold beverages, a soft-serve ice cream bar and a special “cat-mint” soft-serve cocoa for adults.
There are no separate event tickets for Korkeasaari Summer Night — you can enjoy the extended opening hours with a regular zoo admission ticket. An annual pass to Korkeasaari Zoo is also valid for the event.
You can buy tickets in advance from the online shop or on-site at the zoo’s ticket office. Please note that discounted evening tickets go on sale at 3 p.m. and are only available at the zoo’s ticket office.

Note! It is not possible to pass through Korkeasaari Zoo to reach Mustikkamaa without purchasing a zoo admission ticket. Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets on board the boats on the Korkeasaari route.

- Trips departing on the hour from Market Square and on the half hour from Korkeasaari will be operated by the paddle wheel ship Vispilä until 5:30 p.m., and afterwards by the wooden vessel Hymy or the larger Amiraali boat.
- Trips departing on the half hour from Market Square and on the hour from Korkeasaari will be operated by the wooden vessel Hymy or the larger Amiraali boat.
- During Summer Nights, Korkeasaari Zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

renewable fuel oil. As pioneers we want to take part in developing low-emission solutions. By using renewable fuel oil we reduce our carbon footprint on the route in question by up to 90% compared to fossil fuels.
