Escape the hustle and bustle of the city on a guided leisurely excursion on the island of Pihlajasaari, situated only 15-minute ferry journey away from mainland Helsinki!

Pihlajasaari is a former villa island that is now a versatile outdoor recreation area. Pihlajasaari is well known for its beautiful sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, and gorgeous sea views, as well as quaint old wooden villas.

On the excursion, we have a walk surrounded by the beautiful landscape, stopping occasionally and getting to know different layers of history, which we don’t always even notice anymore. The island is home to diverse nature, and as we will pass by coastal meadows and forests, we will get to know many wild plants and birds that live on Pihlajasaari for the summer.

There will be a Finnish-style snack break with a seaside view and plenty of time to take photos, talk with your local guide, and enjoy this cherished summer paradise.

Both the island and the vessel are easily baby carriage accessible.
