JT-Line\u00b4s ferry from Helsinki Market Square to Viaporin Kekri on 5th of November 2022<\/h1>\n

Kekri was an ancient Finnish festival which marked the end of the harvest season as well as the calendar year. Kekri was usually celebrated at the start of November. Folk celebrated life and the harvest with plentiful feasts, and paid their respects to the dearly departed through various rituals.<\/em><\/p>\n

The winter in Finland is long, grim, and inescapable, and we have no choice but to embrace its arrival. Come to Suomenlinna to celebrate the long-forgotten festival of Kekri, and face the darkness without fear!<\/em><\/p>\n

JT-Line\u2019s waterbus m\/s Amiraali operates scheduled departures from the Cholera Basin at Helsinki Market Square to Suomenlinna during the Viaporin Kekri-event<\/a><\/strong>-on Saturday 5.11.2022.<\/p>\n

Travel tickets can be purchased either from JT-Line\u00b4s online shop >><\/a><\/strong> or straight from the vessel. As payment methods we accept cash, Finnish debit cards and most common credit cards (Visa, Mastercard). As the Viaporin Kekri-event has been extremely popular, we highly recommend you to purchase your ticket online beforehand!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Purchasing your fare online beforehand is recommended to ensure a spot on the desired departure. Your reservation is valid up until 10 minutes prior to the departure. Passengers with reservations may board first, and after this other passengers may board in order of arrival. We can unfortunately not keep your reservation valid if you arrive late. Ticket sales online close 15 minutes prior to each departure.<\/p>\n
