Tickets can be purchased in advance from the ONLINE STORE >>
Tickets are also sold on board. Accepted payment methods are cash, Finnish bank cards, and the most common credit cards (Visa, Mastercard).
SINGLE TICKETS (round trip):

Things to note about travel tickets:
- Season tickets are personal: please be prepared to verify your identity upon request.
- Children’s tickets are for children aged 7–17. Children under 7 travel free of charge when accompanied by an adult holding a valid ticket.
- Pensioner tickets are available to persons over 70 upon presentation of an identity document, as well as to persons entitled to a full pension under Kela or the statutory earnings-related pension system upon presentation of a Kela card.
- Persons performing military or civilian service may travel with the applicable discounted ticket upon presentation of valid proof (military service card or civilian service certificate).
- Passengers travelling with an unemployed person’s ticket must present appropriate proof of unemployment (a decision from Kela or a certificate from the TE Office, either printed or shown on a mobile device).
Piers of Departures
Note: the Torpedolahti scheduled service pier is under renovation until Midsummer, and the water bus will temporarily use this pier >> at Torpedolahti.
The Vallisaari water bus departs from Helsinki Market Square, from pier number 10 at the Kolera Basin, see map link >>
On Vallisaari, the vessel first stops at the Luotsipiha pier, on the outbound journey and then continues to the Torpedolahden pier. Unless otherwise agreed, passengers on the outbound journey disembark at Luotsipiha. The return departure operates only from the Torpedolahden pier.
Other things to note:
- The ferry on this route is barrier-free and can be easily accessed via the gangway with both manual and electric wheelchairs. We recommend that wheelchair passengers disembark on the outward journey at the Torpedolahti pier.
- You can take strollers on the ferry.
- We do not transport bicycles.
- Dogs are welcome on board and on Vallisaari / Kuninkaansaari, but they must be kept on a leash.
